Do you love digging in the soil and watching things grow? Would you like to combine your love of gardening with your love of cats?
The Cat's Meow is looking for a volunteer to tend our garden area in front of the adoption center. This is a small strip of ground, about 18 inches deep by 15 feet long and is currently planted with an assortment of perennials and grasses. We also have some potted plants on the front porch. This is an opportunity to let your creativity bloom!
Volunteers must be 18 or older and complete a volunteer questionnaire and liability release form. You will need to bring your own gardening tools.
This can be done on your own schedule; however we are looking for someone who will be committed to nurturing the garden on a regular basis. We are especially interested in recruiting long-term volunteers. Many of our current volunteers have been with us for years and have completed hundreds of volunteer hours. Please carefully consider your schedule and your ability to commit your time.
