In my early days here, I was a shy and reclusive girl. But as time goes by, I find myself looking forward to visits from kind strangers. I like to hear footsteps outside the door, and I always trot over to see who it is. If you greet me kindly and invite me to join you on the sofa, I'll be happy to settle in next to you. I'm quiet, but not silent: you will hear my mellow little purr when you pet me. I can't help but imagine how it might be to live with someone I could snuggle up with every day. I'm also happy up in my favorite cat tree; I really like to be on top of things and see what's going on. I like other cats who share my calm nature; Preston and I have been keeping company here. How to Adopt Alexis
Adopting a cat from the Cat's Meow is a simple process. If you are interested in a specific cat, it's a good idea to call the adoption center at (360) 588-9900 to verify that the cat is still available. If so, we will arrange a time to meet and complete the adoption paperwork.
